Join us to learn from Becky Anderson, Suicide Survivor’s Club (SSC) co-founder and director who will share how SSC came to be, how their individual family stories became bound into award winning books to showcase the individual and family experience of losing a loved one to suicide. The written and visual stories offered healing while painting a reality of the grief experience following a death by suicide.  Kris Frykman, who is SSC’s art therapist will elaborate on the healing power of art while offering a review of the Healing through Trauma workbook and how this workbook can be used for all ages and for all trauma.

By the end of the webinar presentation: 

1.)Participants will have an opportunity to expand their understanding on the healing power of art as it relates to trauma;

2) Participants will be able to identify resources that can be used within their respective professional practices around grief and art.

Who should participate:  Public health professionals and students, healthcare professionals.
