This session is intended for health educators and health professionals who are interested in promoting mental health and resilience. Presenters will level-set with a description of what resilience is and it’s relation to mental health. Attendees will learn about the process and outcomes of the Happy Hour resilience pilot project conducted at a 100-person county public health worksite. Presenters will discuss how the pilot projects was adapted to reach all Washington County employees through virtual facilitation methods.  Lastly, presenters will discuss how this project can be translated to other settings. 

Webinar Objectives - Participants will be able to:

       describe the importance of resilience and its relationship to positive mental health

       identify at least three strategies for promoting resilience in a worksite setting

Nonmembers can pay $10 for credit upon post-evaluation

Who should participate:  Public health professionals and students, healthcare professionals,  workplace wellness coordinators, health or wellness coaches
FREE for all participants, and 1.0 CHES or MCHES free for Mn SOPHE Members.  For nonmembers: 1.0 CHES or MCHES are $10.  All participants will receive a certificate of attendance after participating and completing evaluation form.
